Bio:

I was born September 8th 1977, and raised by my single mother in Rapid City, South Dakota. When I was 14 years old I was blessed with a little brother. My mother who had a tough upbringing did the very best she could. I watched her struggle for many years to raise us both. She never had a great job, or a new car. I didn’t have the designer clothes and wasn’t part of the popular crowd. I was teased and singled out a lot. I was loved by my family, but it wasn’t enough. When I was about 13 I began to write poetry, it was a way for me to express my feelings. I wrote about pain, my dreams, and what I thought was love.

I graduated from Central High School, in Rapid City in 1996. I didn’t go to college, instead got married and started my family. We later concluded we were together for the wrong reasons. Our marriage ended in divorce. I then had two more failed relationships and two more children, but I kept living. My children gave me the inspiration to get out of bed everyday, because without me they’d have nothing. I wanted them to have everything that I wasn’t able to have.

As I grew older my love for writing became stronger and I wrote more often. When I was in my late 20’s I met somebody who encouraged me to write more, and take it to the next step, so I did. I started writing a column for the Trimaxx on line newsletter. I gave advice; I tried to teach, and educated people about life and love, and sex. Then I wanted to take my writing up on more level, so I wrote a story. One story turned into two and two into three, and so on.

My life has been far from perfect, I have been abused mentally, physically, emotionally, and sexually through out my life. I have loved, and given my all in relationships only to have my trust demolished. I have felt the pain of having your heart broken, and lived to tell about it. Now I am the happiest I have even been in my life. In august of 2008 I married a truly wonderful man. He accepts my faults and loves me unconditionally. I am finally a blessed woman.

I hope that my poems, stories, and articles continue to inspire and educate others.
